10. Pfizer is mutating COVID-19? Fake or not?
Project Veritas released a video involving Jordon Trishton Walker, who was identified as the Pfizer Director of Research and Development Strategic Operations and mRNA Scientific Planning. In that viral video, short clips were edited to show Jordon telling a Project Veritas journalist that Pfizer is mutating the COVID-19 virus to try and preemptively develop new vaccines. Anti-vaccination activists are excitedly sharing the Project Veritas video as evidence that Pfizer was caught mutating the COVID-19 virus to develop new vaccines. The video went viral, with more than 30 million views on Twitter alone in a week after it was posted, according to the social media company’s public metrics.
HOW CAN WE VERIFY THIS?
Project Veritas is infamous for posting misinformation, and heavily edited videos that either cast a misleading angle on a story or push misinformation. In February 2021, Project Veritas posted a video of Mark Zuckerberg allegedly warning Facebook staff about the risks of mRNA vaccines, even though Zuckerberg changed his opinions three months earlier after asking Dr. Anthony Fauci to clarify the issue in a November 2020 livestream.
In October 2021, Project Veritas released a video of Pfizer scientist Nick Karl saying that natural immunity is better than vaccination, when in fact Nicholas Karl is a biochemist who was not involved in the development or manufacture of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
If you watch the Project Veritas video or read the transcript carefully, you will realise that Jordon Trishton Walker never said that Pfizer was mutating the COVID-19 virus. He only said that it was “a thought that came up” in one of the meetings.
In any case, it doesn’t make much sense for Pfizer to try and “predict” the next variant, because the mRNA technology allows for very quick vaccine development. Moderna, for example, took only two days to design its mRNA vaccine after Chinese scientists released the SARS-CoV-2 virus genome, and only 26 days to create its first batch of vaccines.
In other words, Pfizer, or rather BioNTech scientists, only need the genomic data of the latest variant to create a new vaccine. There is no real need to predict the next variant, because developing a new vaccine with mRNA technology is so quick. Why mRNA vaccines take so long to get to market has more to do with testing and red tape, than actually creating them.

Pfizer responded directly to these allegations:
They state that “Pfizer has not conducted gain of function or directed evolution research. Working with collaborators, we have conducted research where the original SARS-CoV-2 virus has been used to express the spike protein from new variants of concern. This work is undertaken once a new variant of concern has been identified by public health authorities. This research provides a way for us to rapidly assess the ability of an existing vaccine to induce antibodies that neutralize a newly identified variant of concern. We then make this data available through peer reviewed scientific journals and use it as one of the steps to determine whether a vaccine update is required.”.

FAKE OR NOT?
Fake! It seems silly for Pfizer to intentionally infect monkeys, or do other illegal experiments to mutate the COVID-19 virus, and try and predict the next variant, when the virus is mutating rapidly globally, every infected person is literally a mutation factory!
